Tryambakam Mantra chanted by Dalai Lama

Tryambakam Mantra chanted by Dalai Lama.mp4 – Youtube

Please listen to the Dalai Lama’s chanting of the Tryambakam mantra. Surely this must be the mantra for Lent, if not for the whole of 2012 and for the kranti, which Babaji has talked about. We will be joining the Dalai Lama (on CD) during our Navaratri week-ends at the ashram. If you are unable to attend, please join in on youtube.

Spring Navaratri Celebrations – not to be missed!

Please come and join one of the two most important Hindu festival of the year (Spring and Autumn Navaratri).

Spring Navaratri (nine nights) is held this year from 23rd-31st March. This period marks a very important junction of climatic and solar influence, seen as a sacred opportunity for the worship of the Divine Mother.

Haccadown ashram is open to all who wish to participate and reap from the benefits of this special form of sadhana (spiritual practice) and invites you for the following weekends:

24th and 25th March

&

30th and 31st March

Feel free to bring flowers, fruit and a coconut for your personal offerings to the fire. And don’t forget to let us know that you will attend so that we will know for how many people to cater and/or reserve beds for! We have a suggested donation of £5 per lunch and £3 per light supper, with an overnight stay’s recommended suggestion being £10-15 in the house and £5-10 camping. Please see the website for info.

Full Moon Fires – Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February

Dear friends of Babaji and havan lovers.

You are cordially invited to join our February full moon fires which will be held on:

Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February

The date of these sacred Vedic fire ceremonies coincides with the Celtic festival of Imbolc and Candlemas in the Christian church. It is also known as the Festival of Dedication, where all prayers and rituals are dedicated to the first light of the New year, marking the end of Epiphany. Thus we will be dedicating the sacred fires to the New Year 2012 and all that which lies ahead of us.

Please come and join us and bring your personal dedications with you.

Please remember to book for accommodation (suggested donation £10-15) and/or food (suggested donation £5), so we can arrange things. Both days will start at 9am.
